Description
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist to plan, develop, implement, track, and optimize our social media marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities
• Plan, develop, execute, track, and optimize our social media strategy to increase followers, engagement, brand awareness, and conversions
• Develop a social media calendar to ensure a constant daily supply of relevant, engaging content
• Assist with generating content
• Work with designers to ensure content is visually appealing
• Edit, publish and share content
• Coordinate team of campus social media marketers
• Respond to customer questions and comments in a timely manner, including outside office hours
• Monitor social media for feedback and reviews
• Identify and report on KPIs
• Prepare monthly social media reports and recommendations
• Stay up-to-date with advances, best practices, technologies, and trends in social media

Qualifications
• 2-3 years of proven experience in developing and executing social media marketing campaigns
• College or University degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies or a related field
• Thorough knowledge of best practices and trends on popular social media platforms
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Good understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Commitment to visually appealing content (familiarity with Adobe Suite and/or Photoshop preferred but not required)
• Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision, and to work as part of a collaborative team
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented, good multitasking and organizational ability
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
