I am looking for a full-time assistant (ideally someone who has the flexibility to start part-time and then ramp up as we gain momentum) to help me stay accountable to myself and help execute a very busy agenda. (I run an air quality testing business). We are currently in the process of inventing the World’s first “smart” whole-home air filtration system. The role will be 90% business focused by there could be a bit of overlap on the personal side (help plan trips, parties, and alleviate some of the burden of my day to day life. Assistant to take on a variety of tasks, including:
- AMAZING NOTE TAKER , I am a huge voice noter, and I also summarize a lot of amazing content. If you were the kid in school who loved using different colour highlighters and making things look pretty and organized, were going to get along great :-)
- Triaging and responding to emails
- Project management with operators of companies
- Coordinate lunches with other entrepreneurs
- Comfortable getting a hang of new SaaS tools.
- Help organize my day to day schedule and help me stay on top of my deliverables
Initial pay will depend on experience and fit.
The Candidate (i.e. You):
Let me start off by saying, I have never worked with an A-Player in this role before. I have friends who have amazing executives and assistants and I am highly motivated to get some help myself. I know my impact could be exponentially greater with the right support.
Because of how varied and unpredictable your day to day tasks might end up being, versatility, resourcefulness, and adaptability are key. You need to be a quick study who can figure things out, and whose first reaction to something new is "I can figure out how to do that". You need to be on the ball and responsible, so you can take direction without being micromanaged. You LOVE checklists. And there's no place for ego in this role, as tasks will range from super-sensitive to super-mundane. Finally, and most importantly, you must be 100% fluent in English, and have strong written communication skills.
