Top Level Front Desk/Receptionist job (Westwood Area)

Employment type: Part-time 20-35 hours/week

We are a busy Chiropractic office in West Winnipeg currently looking for an AWESOME Chiropractic Assistant. We are looking for a rock star that wants to make a difference in patient’s lives. Must be friendly, organized and a "People-Person". Growing practice that is very involved in the community by doing outside events. We promote a fun office atmosphere for our staff and we work as a team. MUST be a team player! Should have strong verbal and written communication skills and a proven track record from past employers for job attendance. Required to have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and must be proficient in spoken and written English.


Organization skills

Answer phones and operate a switchboard.

Call patients.

Answer patient inquiries.

Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.

Maintain flow of office

Schedule meetings.

Ensure office is tidy.

Coordinate mail flow in and out of office.

Coordinate office activities.

Handle phone calls

Gather patient personal and insurance information.

Check out patients

Send email and faxes.

Perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties.

Take and relay messages.

Update appointment calendars.

Schedule patient appointments.

Maintaining and keeping track of office supplies

Marketing at times

Verifying insurance

Setting up Lunch Workshops and Attending Workshops

Maintaining other inventories

Maintaining an orderly work area

Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Job will consist of clerical work during office hours and a small emphasis on outside marketing to build the brand name and create relationships in the community. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience.
