Position Type: Paid position, rate commensurate with capabilities, part-time, hrs per wk: 16-24
Summer Intern position: 3 month minimum commitment starting late June 2019 with opportunity to extend or move to full-time employment.

Education Required: Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree or Junior/ Senior year in pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree, GPA 3.2 minimum
Performs duties relating to design and development of AC and DC power conversion hardware at the circuit level and during the product development cycle.
Evaluate control loops for AC and DC power converters. Tasks will include performing mathematical and/ or simulation analysis on power converter control loops and verifying analysis with FRA equipment. Perform design and development related tasks associated with ZVS phase-shifted full bridge converter for new 2kW 3-phase power supply including load sharing control circuitry.
Must be able to commit 16hrs/week minimum and have suitable transportation.
Relevant experience in the design/ development of analog electronics a plus.
Proficient in common engineering design tools, such as simulation software, mathematical analysis, schematic capture, MS Excel/Word, and database applications.
Good interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Good organizational skills.
