Description We are a civil litigation law firm located in San Francisco’s Financial District. We are looking for a motivated Law Clerk/Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for the firm’s Founding Partner. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage the firm’s schedule, including trial dates and hearings.
Coordinate appointments and meetings.
Coordinate with clients, external counsel, and on-site building personnel to obtain and exchange information and documentation related to legal matters.
Assess the urgency of situations and determine appropriate actions, monitor status of pending items, provide follow up, and keep attorneys informed by communicating a wide variety of information.
Prepare and proofread legal correspondence and mailings.
File documents with various Bay Area courthouses, both in person and electronically.
Support staff and/or attorneys using numerous office systems, including PC-based Windows software (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat), Gmail, case management system, Square credit card processing, and electronic filing.
Ensure that all necessary information is shared between clients and attorneys on various files.
Field and analyze inquiries and potential new clients received from the firm’s website.
