Description We are looking for a bright, motivated team player to join us, and fill the roll of a Detailer - Project Coordinator.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Detailer - Project Coordinator your duties will include:

- Reading and understanding Contract Drawings
- Evaluating constructability of components
- Taking direction from the Project Manager
- Communicating with Structural Engineer to develop, enhance and implement design
- Generating shop drawings for metal fabricators to work from
- Submitting shop drawings to Structural Engineer for review
- Revising shop drawings as directed by Structural Engineer, Customer, and or Project Manager
- Generating shop drawings, BOM"s, cut lists, and QC forms for metal fabricators to work from
- Supporting metal fabricators during production

Occasionally you will be involved with:

- Design and development of custom jigs, fixtures, and strategies to optimize fabrication efficiency
- Product development, design, analysis and feasibility
- Producing proposal drawings for our sales and estimating teams

Qualifications and Skills

The preferred candidate will have the following attributes:

- A positive, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn and share new ideas
- Be organized, self-motivated, able to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Must be educated and proficient in AutoCAD

Preference will be give to candidates that:

- Are proficient in SolidWorks
- Have a post-secondary education in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Structural Engineering
- Have 5 plus years experience in a similar roll
