If you are an Eden Associate or Elder Care Specialist (or desire to become one), your skills are needed at our organization. We are hiring RN care partners. we´re looking for a floor nurse (RN) to work Evening Shift (8-hr shifts) e/o weekend. We are a unique long-term care community focusing on the well-being of elders and staff.

What you’ll do:

- Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and allay apprehension
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing standards
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient
- Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies the Physician of patient’s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents; may notify supervisor as needed
- Performs nursing assessments to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient
- Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
- Documents interventions, patient behaviors and physical assessments for assigned patients
- Initiates a patient/family-education plan according to the individualized needs of the patient/family, as prescribed by Physician
- Participates in quality improvement activities

What you have:

- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in Colorado
- At least two years' nursing experience in sub-acute or long-term care (leadership experience is a plus)
- Flexibility, initiative, determination, professionalism, and a good heart
