Establish specific scope of projects for customers and ensure they meet the needs of the customer.
Prepare all specifications for tender, administer the tendering process.
Ensure that the Design Brief is signed off by the customer.
Provide ongoing contact, communication and coordination with Ameresco customers and subcontractors to ensure the design and construction phases are appropriately managed.
Provide status updates and remedies to delays and other concerns or questions to customers and subcontractors on a regular basis.
Supervise subcontractors to ensure quality control and to ensure the timely completion of deliverables within budget.
Review, approve, and manage all expenditures on assigned projects including all invoicing, purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation.
Coordinate the post-tender process by selecting the vendors and subcontractors to ensure the lowest price, while ensuring the highest quality, schedule delivery, and organizing all project-related equipment.
Provide appropriate support to team regarding documentation, reporting, specifications of project files and copies of project documentation.
Provide regular status updates and revenue forecasting to the Project Director.
Manage the job cost accounting process to ensure accurate record keeping for all projects and ensure the overall financial performance of assigned projects.
Attend regular construction meetings at various jobsites; and
Perform other duties as required.
College degree in project management or equivalent work experience
10 years experience in a project management role. Existing building energy retrofit and/or green energy experience preferred.
Professional engineering designation and/or certified energy manager
Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
Proficient with MS Office Suite particularly Word, Excel, MS Project.
Effectively meeting customer needs; building productive customer relationships; taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
