Job Description

Our team, is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager, for a 6 month contract position with the possibility of an extension. As a Marketing and Social Media Manager, you will coordinate and execute the day-to-day marketing and administrative tasks to develop and manage digital marketing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and suggest creative ways to attract more customers while being brand-focused.

Responsibilities Include

- Assists with the day-to-day marketing tasks and coordination of projects as requested

- Helps design and implement marketing campaigns

- CRM and Database Management

- Prepares and publishes newsletters via Constant Contact

- Develops and manages digital marketing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn while compiling relevant social media audit reports

- Manages and is responsible for timely online postings on multiple channels, and keeping accurate track of the posting database

- Creates inspirational, informative, engaging content and images driving audience traffic to the website or social media channels

- Curates engaging and integrated content for multi-channel purposes – including press releases, email, website, blogs, advertisements, newsletters, and social media

- Researches audience preferences and response to culture and social trends

- Facilitates online conversation and respond to inquiries

- Suggest new ways to attract prospective clients and residents

- Provide project support and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Passion for social media and marketing

- Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related experience;

- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.

- Deep understanding of social media planning / buying across paid, earned, and owned channels

- Fluency with graphic editing tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign;

- Experience building and growing brands on social media.

- Understanding of content marketing principles and ability to integrate them into social media publishing tactics.

- Demonstrated expertise in social media strategy and execution

- Experience with web development platforms; basic knowledge of HTML an asset

- Proven work experience as a social media and/or marketing coordinator

- Medium to advanced knowledge of SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, and paid social media advertisements with the desire for continual growth and development

- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) and a passion for writing

- Strong communications skills to clearly express ideas in an objective manner, and adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

- Detail oriented and strong proofreading skills

- Possess a reputation for resourcefulness with a strong sense of accountability, initiative, and manage time effectively

- Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve department goals
