Job Description

Rental Coordinator required for a fast paced environment. The rental department is based in Edmonton but looks after all the rental needs for customers at 7 branches in Western Canada. Candidates with experience in renting material handling equipment & logistics will be given priority..

You must be able to prioritize and multitask. You will be able to efficiently manage customer queries and requests by telephone, email and in person. The ability to work with minimal supervisor is required and attention to detail is critical. Intermediate or better experience using Word & Excel and other computer programs is required.

Please note there is no bus service into our industrial area and you will have a 15-20 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. Having a vehicle is recommended


Ensuring accuracy of pricing and completion of rental contracts

Preparing invoices

Keeping Planned Maintenance Spreadsheets up to date

Call customers to get hours on rental machines

Assisting customers with queries when required

Assist with Inventory Control


Intermediate knowledge and ability using the following programs:

- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Outlook

Must be very skilled dealing with clients both face to face and over the telephone

Will be expected to follow up on over due rentals Accounts

Must be able to type 65-70 words per minute

Highly organized and flexible as task importance change quickly depending on demands.

Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
