Job Description

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Logistics sales Manager who will establish client base by contacting prospective clients and expand business with current clients. The logistics sales Manager will be developing strategic plans and marketing programs to increase company’s revenues and profitability. This person will report to Chief Revenue Officer and will also work with other executives across the organization in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating/discovering potential business opportunities, closing deals, developing and negotiating contracts, expanding business with current customers, utilizing data reports to discover competitive markets, potential opportunities or lost business.


- Minimum one year of experience as a sales Manager (in Transportation or Logistics industry)
- Outstanding closing deals skills
- Motivation for sales, strong leadership and training skills
- Transportation/Logistics industry knowledge
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Energetic, outgoing personality
- Self-starter, ability to motivate, inspire and lead a professional sales team
- Superior customer relation skills, excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (an asset)
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Computer knowledge- working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with focus on Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
- Candidates with experience and contacts in the Transportation or Logistics industry will receive priority consideration
- Proven track record of sales
