Job Description

Must have several years experience in business development in relation to the construction industry. Must have an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for sales and proven track record of success, who takes a hands-on approach to building business opportunities. The Business Development Manager is responsible for the following:

· Develop new project opportunities that best reflectsour’s overall growth strategy

· Work effectively with senior management to develop long term strategic goals for the company

· Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds sales goals that supports our’s revenue and profitability targets

· Access construction project opportunity platforms in their design stage to identify and determine potential clients

· Identify and determine potential clients by networking and gathering useful information from current and competitor data on developers, architects, engineers and designers in the industry

· Develop a comprehensive spreadsheet to record all research conducted

· Meet with management team on findings; weekly basis and determine client listing

· Connect with potential clients based on agreed upon listing

· Develop and maintain potential strategic developer/architectural relationships

· Coordinate with senior management to develop mutually beneficial proposals

· Prepare and present powerful and persuasive presentations to prospective clients

· Follow up on previously made phone calls / emails / meetings / presentations on prospects

· Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders if project is awarded

· Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed

· Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts

· Attend conferences and professional associations to continually promote Fusioncorp in the construction industry
