Our growing business' home base is in Ottawa, Ontario.
Our service-based clients operate across Canada and the United States, Our current team lives across four different provinces.
As an ADVANCED WORDPRESS WEB DEVELOPER (and Canadian Resident) - you'll bring at least 5+ years of professional WordPress custom programming experience. The job is 100% remote - but we use Google Meet and Chat to stay in touch multiple times all day long.
Candidates will need the following skills:
5+ years of WordPress Experience
5+ years of PHP, CSS
5+ years of MySQL database
Experience with WordPress REST API and third-party APIs (Google, Zapier, MailChimp etc.)
Experience installing and configuring custom WordPress themes
Experience working with WooCommerce
Experience in creating custom WordPress plug-ins
Experience working with Elementor
Experience working with Guttenberg
Experience in AODA / WCAG 2.0 A,AA,AAA
Experience installing and configuring websites using cPanel (or similar
Experience with Github or other source control
Experience with WPML
Experience with multi-site management tools such as MainWP
Experience in debugging

On any given day, you can expect to do things like:
Creating a custom WordPress theme
Backing up or restoring an old Website
Creating or customizing a WordPress plug-in
Configuring an API
Working with others within the WordPress community
Providing input to the team or supporting our Front-end or Graphic Designers
Helping migrate content from one platform to WordPress
If this is a job that gets you so excited that you would even do it for free, we would totally accept that offer from you. But suppose you prefer compensation (and we get it—we like getting paid as well). In that case, this is what we offer: This is a full-time position. There is no need to come to our office, but you will participate via video calls (and when the world gets back to normal, we'll meet you in person!).
We are looking to bring our new team member on board as soon as possible. Still, we will spend the necessary time to find the best fit both in abilities and culturally.
