Position Overview

We’re looking for a data-driven Manager of Outbound Lead Generation to help us build the foundation for how our marketing team drives volume and velocity in the sales funnel. As an early key leader on the marketing team, you’ll wear many demand generation hats—from building a world-class outbound lead generation machine, launching ABM campaigns, to helping guide how we optimize our tech stack. You’ll work closely with your sales and marketing colleagues, and you will report to the VP of Sales & Marketing.

You'll have access to a marketing budget in 2022 to expand our tools and shape the future of our outbound lead generation function. Make no mistake about it, this is a roll-up-your-sleeves, get-stuff-done role inside a successful and lean growth stage SaaS company … if that excites you, then you are on your way to alignment with the exciting challenges this role presents.

To be transparent, this role will require the successful candidate to build everything with their own hands. You will be supported by one current marketing colleague, a product marketing team that is currently being recruited, and the VP S&M, along with a sales team that has a vested interest in making you a superstar! Key Responsibilities

- Work with the VP of Sales & Marketing to develop lead generation strategies and tactics that support revenue goals and SQL targets
- Work closely with your marketing colleagues to produce the content, messaging, value propositions and sales enablement for new and existing products and services - you have your own responsibilities BUT, this is ONE TEAM
- Work closely with 2 BDRs to ideate, plan, execute and iterate on outbound campaigns, daily
- Develop, execute, track, measure, iterate and refine outbound lead generation campaigns
- Quickly prepare to build and then test an ABM machine you will help design, knowing that we have a well defined TAM so targeting and personalization are game-changing strategies for us
- Measure and report on lead generation targets, and continually optimize campaigns to increase the volume and velocity of SQLs
- Launch integrated campaigns leveraging content (a lot of which has not yet been built), email, web, paid, virtual events, vendors, and more
- Introduce ABM campaigns to RCT with the objective of penetrating strategic accounts, expanding existing accounts, as well as penetrating new markets whether they be vertical or geographic
- Partner with sales on objectives, campaigns, scoring, follow-up strategies, lead management, and reporting
- Engage 3rd party firms to support RCT objectives where the additional bandwidth makes sense and where cost-efficient volume and/or velocity can be gained

Requirements

- 3+ years of current experience with B2B outbound lead generation – this is the primary focus of this role
- Experience at B2B SaaS companies, with focus on Enterprise sales with an ACV of USD$100K preferred
- You are an “A-Manager” OR an “A-Player” looking to grab that next rung on your career ladder!
- Track record of hitting growth-stage lead generation targets that generate revenue
- You are aware of, or are knowledgeable in MEDDPICC and Sandler – these are the languages of sales and marketing at RCT … if you fit into the former category (‘aware of’) … I suggest you do some research before your first interview
- Expertise with a variety of marketing tools including: Salesforce, Hubspot, Discoverorg, Google Analytics, and Google Adwords, 6Sense, and more
- Experience running campaigns across multiple channels including SEM, email, social, and web
- Solid understanding of ABM strategies and tactics OR a super-fast learner chomping at the bit to execute on this epic strategy. It’s OK to NOT know something … as long as you’re a “quick study”
- You love working with data, you enjoy measuring campaigns, and you love to optimize everything!
- Self-starter; you spot opportunities to make things better and take ownership over them
- Track record of collaborating across teams. You can effectively partner with sales, operations, designers, marketers and freelancers. Essentially you play well with others, and your coworkers enjoy being around you!
