Job Description

Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be a project designer with approximately 4 years related experience involved with various aspects of land development projects through both the design and construction phases. Your responsibilities will include preparing preliminary and final grading and servicing designs, cost estimates, project schedules, coordinating projects through the approvals process, liasing with contractors, sub-consultants, and clients.

The Intermediate Municipal Engineer is required to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:

- Have a degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Technology
- Have a thorough understanding of municipal and land development design;
- Have a minimum of four (4) years of related experience;
- Must have knowledge with residential subdivisions, master servicing plans, stormwater management plans, site grading and servicing plans;
- Must be self-motivated possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and clients is an asset;
- Have a clear understanding of the development approval process in various GTA municipalities is an asset.

We are looking for a qualified candidate for an Intermediate Contract Administrator/ Construction Coordinator position. As part of our contract administration team, you must be an experienced and organized contract administrator in the construction industry related to land development. Specific duties include: tender and contract preparation, construction inspection, payment certification, advising on cost effective design/construction practices, performing as a liaison between client, project staff, and contractors.
