Job Description

Our client has an open position for a Senior Software Developer. This is a contract with the Health Services division which lasts until March 2023.

Must Have:

-10+ years of demonstrated experience in database development with Microsoft SQL Server (analyzing the requirements, designing the solution, coding, configuring, testing, and implementing new and by modifying/enhancing existing applications to develop enterprise-level information technology solutions)

- Mastery of Stored procedures and all programmable SQL Server objects and related data architecture techniques along with SQL Agent jobs

-SSRS reports (there's about 200)

-Demonstrated experience with database architecture, in producing the data model, logical and physical database design (OLTP, OLAP, Data Warehousing, ERwin, Visio, UML) and database capacity planning

-Experience working with team-collaboration tools (Confluence and Jira)

-Demonstrated experience with power query/power pivot, and ability to combine datasets from different sources

-

End to end management of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)

-

Ability to write Python and SQL script for custom Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) installations

-

Ability to perform risk analysis for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), policy and procedures, and operational planning

-

Experience with designing and developing solutions for a 9-1-1 Public Safety environment

-

Ability to develop specification for Priority Dispatch System (MPDS) triage for system integration with CAD

-

Ability to develop process models and ongoing analysis of program effectiveness for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)

Job Responsibilities:

Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.

Desirable Skills

NOTE

-

Assignment Type: This position is currently listed as "Hybrid" due to COVID-19 related WFH direction. Once HSC staff are required to return to the office, the resource under this request will be required to work onsite as well.

Extension/Amendment Attestation: Extension(s) only allowed using unused days/funds left on contract. No additional funds will be added beyond maximum contract value. HSC will exercise its option(s) to extend the SOW beyond March 31, 2023 using unused days/funds left on contract. Such extension(s) will be allowable only if the Master Service Agreement is extended beyond April 5, 2023 and be upon the same terms, conditions and covenants contained in the SOW.
