The opportunity:

Reporting to the Vice President - Property Management - Central Region. The Property Manager is responsible for the operation and financial management of the commercial real estate portfolio and maximizes the operational and financial performance of properties. Other duties include:

- Manage and monitor vendor contracts and renewals of existing contracts for the properties.
- Address and resolve tenant concerns, rent arrears, operating cost issues, and capital expenditures.
- Oversee risk management to ensure insurance and potential liability issues are minimized.
- Prepare annual operating budgets and report on financial performance.
- Review and approve invoices, working with the team to ensure payment.
- Schedule regular property inspections and address operational requirements of the properties.
- Work collaboratively with the Leasing Department to support lease negotiations and renewals.

Technical qualifications:

- 3+ years of progressive property management experience.
- University degree or college diploma in business or real estate preferred.
- CPM, RPA, or CCIM designation preferred or currently in progress.
- Valid drivers’ license.
- Strong analytical, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure with time deadlines.
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
