University in Montreal is seeking an expert in Database for a 2-3 week project.

1) Most important is that the person has expertise in constructing databases using Microsoft SQL Server software, and can advise us on both how to organize and optimize our use of that software as well as on what equipment to buy (servers, storage, communication with our analysis computers). This should be relatively easy to find.

2) Of secondary importance is that they are familiar with MATLAB.



We would like to hire this person for about one week, or maybe two. Ideally, it would be one week at first, to help design things, and then come back a few weeks later for a short time to help optimize. The timing is pretty flexible and could be anytime in the next year or so.
