Job Description

Job Summary

As our newest professional, you will work directly with Senior Management with responsibilities that include:

- Inventory Management – planning, reporting, analysis:
- Updating monthly inventory spreadsheet
- Planning and hosting the inventory management meeting
- Contacting suppliers for quotes
- Monitoring inventory level, making Order list for stock replenishment

- Product Pricing & Product profitability:
- Work closely with manager to gain understand of margin requirements.
- Analyze impacts of price and cost changes and make price recommendations based on margin requirements and the competition
- Monitor cost and price changes to ensure pre-determined margin requirements are being met.

- Competitive Analysis:
- Complete competitive analysis using the business’ products and compare them against current market industry trends. Then makes recommendations and provides strategies based on their analyses to increase product growth and profitability.

- Supplier Management:
- Use analytical skills to improve the supplier management process through the identification of business process improvement opportunities, implementation of innovative solutions and techniques
- Supplier Scorecards: Responsible for providing supplier scorecards to management & suppliers, including discussions/mitigation plan for any late deliveries.
- Supplier Performance Management to ensure the supplier provides a quality product, delivers on time to the contractual need date, and tracks delivery of all inventories.

- Responsible for digital marketing communication:
- supporting the development and implementation of compelling digital engagements and campaigns across a variety of platform. in an effort increase brand awareness and develop a comprehensive digital presence.
- research best practices for creating meaningful engagement to relevant stakeholders through targeted programming, communications, and digital engagement strategies.

- Provide support for marketing collaterals, advertising materials, marketing campaigns, tradeshows, and other promotional activities.
- Conducting market research and analyzing industry trends
- Identifying new market opportunities and relaying this information to the Manager and other relevant stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain an understanding of the product, market, and competition
- Develop knowledge in our industry, become very familiar with our users and the various market segments that we partner with

To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for our products (Belting, Fasteners, Spice materials…) and keep expanding product knowledge. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for spotting market trends, a willingness to inspire clients, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

- Completion of a college/university program in a Business-related field.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- A strong aptitude for working with numbers and quantities.
- Ability to memorize details like product specifications
- Strong working knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to establish rapport with a wide range of customers and suppliers, identify customers' needs and sales opportunities.
