We are seeking a part-time Project Manager to help the expansion of an existing system into new locations. The PM will provide project leadership and coordination for the successful implementation, as well as provide hands-on analysis as needed to finalize the implementation requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Project planning activities
- Gather upgrade requirements and conduct analysis where applicable
- Develop project charter and other project governance deliverables
- Develop and oversee the maintenance and execution of the project plan and guide the project team through the implementation of the project
- Oversee the delivery of the project on a daily basis to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, within scope, and meeting the expected level of quality. This includes providing direction to and managing the work effort of project resources
- Adhere to PMO project lifecycle processes
- Manage project risks, issues and change requests
- Produce regular and ad hoc status reports for project stakeholders
- Facilitate the resolution of problems encountered by team members
- Work with the clinical stakeholders to manage change
- Work with vendors to manage successful delivery and implementation of project components
- Assume other related duties such as coordinate core technical infrastructure changes, coordinate project activities with departments and staff
- Conduct post implementation review and lessons learned documentation
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- 5+ years of recent experience in an acute Healthcare environment with a particular focus on IT systems, operational support and managing projects that involve integrated clinical systems
- Demonstrated clinical stakeholder engagement experience
- Experience and skills to prepare meeting materials and take minutes
- Strong English language oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
- A PMP certification is preferred
