Description
Requirements:

· Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education or experience. Preference will be given to those with a Master’s Degree in Engineering

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing and / or automotive assembly

· Knowledge of facility infrastructure and process equipment

· Understanding of machining, assembly, automation, test processes and procedures

· Must have strong project management skills

· Proven record of applying problem solving techniques, root cause analysis and implementing corrective action

· Able to prepare schedule of activities and deliverables and use tracking charts to show progress

· Preference will be given to those who are PMP certified

· Strong computer skill s in MS Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

· Highly motivated, with superb interpersonal and leadership skills

· Able to work independently, under pressure with tight deadlines and fluctuating schedules

· Must have ability to communicate to all levels of management

· Superior time management skills and the ability to multi-task with multiple projects

Necessary Requirements for Applicants:

· Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Facilities Engineer is responsible for working with service providers and facilitate the installation and assessments for a scope of work for a given project. This includes bid pack definitions, supplier selection coordination, and coordination of facility design to support projects.

The Facilities Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

· Manage, monitor and track the installation and commissioning of projects on site daily with weekly reporting on status.

· Lead, identify and perform facility assessments.

· Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance and construction activities

· Conduct field inspections/checks related to projects.

· Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety standards

· Support facility engineering tasks as assigned.

· Continuous improvement to reduce equipment and installation investment.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
