Real Estate Assistant
We are looking for 2 real estates assistants
These are a full-time temporary contracts (until December 2022) with possibility of extension.
Locations: Montreal-North and Anjou
Salary: per hour depending on experience.
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Tasks:
-Create advertisements, implement rental strategies in collaboration with the
Supervisor.
-Schedule appointments and visits to the housing units in its portfolio with the aim of optimizing occupancy rates;
-Prepare all the documentation and procedures necessary for the rental of
housing and sign leases on behalf of the company.
-Prepare and issue lease renewal notices according to the increase rates and other planned changes, all within the established deadlines.
Collection and administration
- Collect rents, prepare and make bank deposits and charge them to the accounting system. Follow ups of accounts receivable and, if necessary, collection from tenants;
- Ensure the conformity of the data entered in the invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and other documents;
-Codify invoices according to budget codes, and enter them into the correct accounting software. Perform filing, copying, scheduling, etc.
-Respond to customer inquiries in relation to their rent, account, etc.
Customer relationship management
- Manage at the first level all neighborhood complaints and claims according to regulations, standards and procedures.
- Prepare all the legal documents for court hearing
-Relief reception occasionally
Requirements:
-DEC in a discipline oriented towards office work etc.) and one year of experience in a similar position or two years of relevant experience
-French (written and spoken)
-Good English (written and spoken)
-High knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
-Interest and sensitivity in working with the elderly
-Excellent customer service skills
-Organized, critical thinker, solution oriented
-Work well under pressure, ability to meet deadlines
-Experience in sales and marketing (an asset).
