We are looking for a friendly, energetic and detail-oriented Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) to work as part of our dermatology clinic team.
Our clinic provides general dermatology services focusing on skin
cancer screening and management.

Work Responsibilities include:

* taking focused patient histories,
* accurately charting for the physician,
* filling out necessary laboratory requisitions,
* preparing and cleaning rooms,
* setting up trays for surgery,
* administering local anesthetics,
* assisting in surgical procedures,
* reprocessing instruments,
* helping out with reception duties (answering phones, processing
mail, faxes, e-mails, etc.),
* contacting patients regarding results,
* assisting with scheduling appointments and procedures,
* restocking supplies including some minor lifting
* other duties as assigned.

The current shifts include Tuesday 10 am – 6 pm, Wednesday 8 am –
4 pm, and Thursday 8 am – 4 pm, however, flexibility to work other
late afternoon/evening shifts is desirable.

Approximate FTE of 0.5. Start date around February.
