Why Does This Job Exist: Job Summary/Scope of Impact
The importance of these functions is to ensure that the company's
documents are prepared accurately (reflecting the approved
transaction, credit conditions, security registrations and specialized
documents from our’s suite of approved documents as may be
necessary) and in a timely manner to support dealers I the delivery.
Accurate and complete documentation will ensure proper and effective
contract enforcement and perfecting (protecting) our's
security from possible 3rd party claims.
What You’ll Do: Major Accountabilities
Working Relationships, Management and Decision-Making
Expectations/Authority:
* Receive notification from dealers/internal sales to prepare lease
and financing documentation for customer’s execution.
* Obtain credit approval file and prepare documentation of the
approved transaction including obtaining invoicing information, PPSA
registration/searched and waivers where necessary, insurance
confirmations, and any additional information (e.g. confirmation of
down-payments received, ID’s for guarantor’s).
* Forward documents package to dealers or customers for execution.
* Receive executed documents package, review to ensure accurate and
completeness, resolve any deficiencies and submit to funding.
* Follow-up on all post-funding deficiencies
Who You Are: Competencies, Experience, Training and Education
1. Leadership – Demonstrate commitment and build trust with internal
sales and funding teams to support funding of dealers for retail
lease/financing in a timely manner.
2. Individual Contributor Competencies – Thorough knowledge
(technical and experience) of all aspect of documentation and security
registration/priority. This positions also requires some knowledge
(in-depth knowledge not required) of various internal reporting
systems (Info-Lease, Aspire) to assemble documentation.
* Experience – 2 or more years of local Canadian experience in an
equipment leasing and financing documentation role is required.
* Training and Education – Completed post-secondary education is
preferred but not required. The role requires proficiency in office
technology applications and attention to details.
