Job Description
As part of the automation support team, the support specialist will
take an active part in managing and supporting the Equipment
Positioning System with direct stakeholder engagement. Job
Responsibilities · Work with terminal operations to support their use
of the terminal process automation equipment and technology systems.
· Work with the IT and Maintenance and Repair departments to resolve
all technical problems experienced by operations at any time to
resolve defect/s and technical problem/s that hinder operation
efficiency. · Recommend to operations on the progress of resolutions
and alternative options available to keep operations productive. ·
Contact 3rd party vendors to raise technical problems that are at a
level 3 or level 4 that require their contractual expertise. · Create
and manage tickets across various vendor platforms · Manage ongoing
relationships with business partners to drive satisfaction with IT ·
Proactively resolves customer satisfaction issues with process
automation technology. · Clearly articulate technical situations and
document business requirements on emails and word processors. ·
Coordinate and/or support various project deliveries by participating
in design reviews, walk-throughs, and training of users.
Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in any field, but preference in
Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, and
Engineering. · Able to work rotating shifts including days, nights,
weekends, and holidays · Demonstrate strong communication skills
(both oral and written) with excellent interpersonal skills working in
a highly diverse workforce. · Demonstrate high energetic personality
and keen analytical and problem-solving skills · Basic understanding
of information technology and general operation concepts · Experience
with Navis N4 and/or Kalmar MTS system is a plus
