growing team. Job Designation This position is for an IT System
Administrator located in Montreal, Canada. You will be reporting
directly to the General Manager and working closely with the IT
Manager situated in the United States. You will also be working with
and supporting the software engineering team in Montreal. Job Core
Responsibilities * Ability to install /Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows
operating system (XP,10,11). * Manage Windows server (file servers,
SQL, Backup server, App server) * Installing and configuring software
and hardware * Identifying and resolving issues related to computer
and network connectivity. * Upgrading and maintaining Windows
hardware, software, and other applications * Providing technical
support to clarify Windows desktop problems. * Assisting Engineering
in testing, analyzing and resolving issues related to Windows
operating systems * Managing and supporting end-user devices, such as
desktop/laptop systems and other peripheral equipment (mobile devices
ios / android) * Managing IT maintenance contracts * Assisting in
testing, analyzing and resolving issues related to Windows operating
systems. * Managing phone systems (voice mails) * Managing Alarm
System * Managing photocopiers / Printers . Education/Experience ·
Minimum D.E.C. in computer technology / electronics · Windows
certification (desirable) · Minimum 5 years related experience.
Skills * Willingness to work until the job is complete. * Excellent
communication skills * Must be able to work independently and solve
problems. * Initiative oriented and driven to succeed. * Bilingual
fluent English and functional French * Able to interface with
headquarters located in U.S.A. * Strong experience working with
Virtual machines (VMWare, VirtualBox) * Good understanding o
networking (TCP/UDP, ICMP, IGMP, TLS/SSL, multicast, unicast, SMTP,
FTP) * Good Knowledge of Windows system and user policies *
