Position Title: E-Commerce Data Specialist Department: E-Commerce
Reports to: E-Commerce Manager ** Position Summary: The E-Commerce
Data Specialist is an individual with an analytical mind, exceptional attention to detail
and a passion for precision within their work. Their day-to-day focus
will be on developing and maintaining a database for our E-Commerce
customers. The E-Commerce Data Specialist will be responsible for
creating and uploading product listings with image links through a
variety of methods and will also play a crucial role in our
data-driven business. This position requires the individual to be
thorough and focused within their work to ensure that all required
data is entered efficiently and accurately. Primary Responsibilities:
• Participate in onboarding new E-Commerce customers. • Maintain
and update existing customer data. • Prepare and populate new
products & pricing into external customer database portals via Excel
spreadsheet uploads. • Ensuring that images, specifications,
pricing, and product information are accurate. • Auditing product
data to ensure integrity and quality within our internal ERP system.
• Troubleshooting customer challenges with displaying our products
as desired. • Utilize customer portal tools to provide analytical
reporting. • Developing an understanding of E-Commerce customer data
requirements. • Generating reports for the E-Commerce sales team.
• Participate in E-Commerce related meetings as required. •
Perform general administrative duties. Requirements: • A Critical
thinker with strong communication, time management and organizational
skills • Keen attention to detail to ensure complete accuracy of
information. • Post Secondary education specializing in Business
Analytics or Data Management OR 2-3 years experience with E-Commerce
portals or advanced data entry. • Understanding of current
E-Commerce best practices and technological capabilities including
EDI/API would be considered an asset. • Proficient in Microsoft
Office Suite - Advanced Excel, Power BI. • Experience with ERP's
(Sage X3 - preferred, JDA. SAP etc.). • Third party platform
experience preferred (Amazon, Wayfair). • Bilingual (French or
Spanish) is not required but would be considered as an asset. Proven
Skills, Abilities, and Attributes: • Able to work independently and
effectively manage time and deadlines. • Strong attention to detail
and data accuracy required. • Must be well organized with strong
written and verbal communication skills. • Flexible with the ability
to adapt to a constantly changing environment. • Goal oriented,
creative problem solver. • Ability to follow detailed instructions
and raise questions when directions or expectations are not clear. •
Friendly and approachable. Polite & Empathetic. Sense of Humor •
Strong ability to build, develop and grow the Ennis Fabrics brand. •
Professional attitude with a business development focus. • Ability
to build rapport and relationships with customers. • Curious and
interested to learn the customer's business and to understand issues
and opportunities. • Adaptable and able to contribute ideas for
