Our organization is seeking a IT Specialist with a strong
background in SharePoint administration to join our team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our Microsoft
Office 365 infrastructure by creating and maintaining SharePoint
sites, creating teams and channels, informing the organization about
new Microsoft applications and tools, and providing end-user training
and support. Responsibilities: • Ensure the operational health of the SharePoint
environment, including security, availability, performance, and
reliability. • Manage user permissions and access levels on the
application. • Administer, support, and configure OneDrive and Teams
for users. • Maintain the organization's existing SharePoint sites,
lists, libraries, and content. • Monitor system usage to ensure that
employees are using it efficiently and effectively. • Assist in the
maintenance of Microsoft applications and make recommendations related
to the deployment of new applications and features. • Install
configurations, assist in application upgrades, and resolve
application-related issues, as needed. • Document processes and
procedures, and keep information up to date. • Work with IT manager
and CRM administrator on application development to understand
functionality, scalability, performance, security, and integration
requirements from the application perspective. • Work on ad-hoc
projects as needed. End-user training and support • Train and
educate end-users in Microsoft Office 365 capabilities and
collaboration tools. • Design simple-English training manuals to
help users understand SharePoint, Teams, etc. • In-person or via
phone, chat, or email, address users' support requests pertaining to
Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc. • Be able to analyze
employees' gaps in IT skills and recommend solutions. • Develop
strategies to implement new Microsoft collaboration apps. • Update
employees about new Microsoft tools and features. • Automate tasks
(using Power Automate, Power Apps) as needed. What You Bring
Requirements • 2-4 years of experience administering SharePoint
within the Microsoft 365 environment. • Knowledge of Active
Directory and security concepts related to SharePoint. • Proven
experience educating end-users about Microsoft Office 365 and related
tools. • Experience providing technical support. • Strong
analysis, organizational, communications, interpersonal, and
troubleshooting skills. • Ability to deploy, troubleshoot, and
support the functionality of Microsoft applications within Microsoft
Office 365. • Ability to handle confidential information with tact
and discretion. Requirements that would be an Asset • Microsoft 365
certification. • Knowledge of Business Connectivity Services. •
Dynamics 365 skills. • Power Shell skills. What We Offer If you are
