Job Description
We are looking to expand our growing team with a Site Supervisor
This position will start as a working supervisor position,
where the candidate's responsibility will be focused on operating the
job site and leading our team members to complete tasks within our
scope of work. The right candidate will meet the skills and attributes
required to complete their position as outlined below, and be able to
raise the bar for talent within our team. Successful candidates may be
given the opportunity to join the team . Job Criteria: * Minimum 5 years construction
experience. * Valid drivers licence required. * Must have personal
tools. Large tools provided by employer. * Ability to read and
interpret construction documents and drawings. * Confident knowledge
of the OHSA and applicable requirements. * Strong leadership skills. *
Proven track record of completing projects on time and on budget. *
Ability to ensure all aspects of any given project are completed
without any forgotten details. Roles and Responsibilities: *
Responsible for day-to-day operations on the job site, including but
not limited to: * Implement and manage site safety program. * Schedule
and coordinate with all trades to ensure project schedule is adhered
to. * Review and interpret blueprints to ensure design accuracy with
all completed work. * Lead Our Team members through the project. *
Ensure all material and tools are onsite at correct intervals to
ensure a clean, manageable, and efficient job site. * Liase with city
inspectors and ensure all required city inspections are conducted on
time, and our sub-contractors and completing any deficiencies from the
city as required. * Attend regular project meetings onsite between
consultants, management, and any stakeholders of the project. *
Ensure contract documents are adhered to, and identify additional work
and seek approval prior to proceeding. * Ability to forecast any
issues and find resolution prior to the project schedule being
affected. * Be comfortable with accessing and filing documents within
our cloud based filing systems. * Familiarity with Procore
Construction Management Software considered an asset, as used in our
day-to-day operations. * Assist with Project Management / coordinator
duties as the role sees fit. * Work in hand with Project Manager: *
Coordinate all construction documentation is provided on time and
accurate to project specifications. * Work with the team to procure a
project schedule, and coordinate any changes as the project
progresses. * Provide a weekly update with photos. * Assist with
ensuring sub-contracts are fulfilled as per the contract documents and
work is completed to our standards. * Assist with seeking
sub-contractor pricing as requested. The wage for this position will
