Our Project Managment Services Inc currently has positions available for below
mentioned role. This is a leadership role and is required to help the
company meet, for the Project Management and delivery of
2000 housing units. The Ideal Candidate holds a minimum
Experience in Construction related management of 3 Years.
JOB DESCRIPTION: In collaboration with the
Client as well as the client's team, ensure; the planning,
administration, scheduling, organization, direction, control and
evaluation of construction projects, from start to finish, in
accordance with the work schedule, the specifications and the planned
budget; • Study, evaluate and analyze the plans and specifications
and to be the point of contact for the site for technical questions or
execution challenges; • Planning and preparation of execution
schedules and milestones, and verification of progress against these
data such as: * Estimate the resources and participants needed to
achieve the project objectives. * Work with the various stakeholders
(subcontractors, managers of other departments) to ensure the success
of the projects. • In collaboration with the Superintendent and the
head of H see to the implementation and ensure compliance with the
company's Health & Safety plan; and act as a liaison with the WSCC
regarding any events at the site. Actively participate in: * Tool box
meetings; * Investigation of events; * Implementation of preventive
measures as determined by the company; * Fill out incident forms; *
Coordination with the health and safety officer and human resources
concerning measures to be taken and steps to follow relating to the
H&S of the site. • Application and implementation of quality control
programs; • Ensure the production of deliverables. • Using the
estimate and construction specification, assist the order department
to ensure that the materials required for the execution of the
projects and: * Perform quantity calculations; * Prepare material
take-offs for supplier price submissions; * Search for suppliers and
subcontractors; * Transmission of technical documents and quote
specifications to suppliers and subcontractors; - Under put and
follow-up of Submittals; * Follow-up of RFIs and be the link between
suppliers and subcontractors; * Check order status; • Define and
manage with the Superintendent, on an ongoing basis, project
expectations with team members and other stakeholders; • In
collaboration with the client, and their superintendent, participated
in site meetings (as required) with subcontractors as required to
ensure the smooth running of the project; • In collaboration with
the client and the Superintendent, ensure the implementation and
proper classification of: * site work report * time sheet
(verification only with the site coordinators) * payroll (verification
only with the site coordinators) * Photo of site activities - Use
management tools and update relevant documentation; * Site orders •
Receive on site, make tours and answer questions from inspectors, the
client, government officials. • Quickly and effectively communicate
expectations to team members and stakeholders in a clear manner; •
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel; •
Attend internal and external meetings. And any other task that may be
delegated to them by their immediate superior.
