Job Description
Our Managment Services Inc has positions available for below
mentioned role. This is a leadership role and is required to help the
company meet for the Project Management and delivery of 2000 housing
units of the 3.000 housing of the contract. The Ideal
candidate has a minimum experience in a construction related
leadership role of 3 Years JOB DESCRIPTION: In collaboration with the
Client, the client's team and our Team, ensure the following; *
Project execution planning, * Project administration, * Scheduling,
organization, direction, control and evaluation of construction
projects, from start to finish, in accordance with the work schedule,
the specifications and the planned budget; * Planning and preparation
of execution schedules and milestones, and verification of progress
against these data such as: * Estimate the resources and participants
needed to achieve the project objectives. * Work with the various
stakeholders (subcontractors, managers of other departments) to ensure
the success of the projects. Ensure the administration of construction
contracts; * Work collaboratively with the Site Inspector-Monitor to
ensure that the project runs according to the plan and that challenges
encountered are addresses and resolved expediently. * Application and
implementation of quality control programs. * Coordination with the
health and safety officer and human resources concerning measures to
be taken and steps to follow relating to the H&S of the site. Ensure
the functioning of the work in order to execute the directives of the
contract and those contained in the tender documents, plans &
specifications; * In collaboration with the Superintendent and the
head of H see to the implementation and ensure compliance with the
company's Health & Safety plan; and act as a liaison with the WSCC
regarding any events at the site. Actively participate in: * Tool box
meetings; * Investigation of events; * Implementation of preventive
measures as determined by the company; * Fill out incident forms; *
Monitoring and compliance with budgets and construction schedules; *
Work in collaboration with the Client, Project Managers, engineers and
Architect on the execution of the works. * Provide information
relating to the interpretation of the final plans and specifications
so that the contractor performs the work requested; * Check the
progress of the work according to the plans and specifications; *
Check shop drawings; * Attend site meetings; * Establish and maintain
a project register, as well as daily work reports and communicate and
distribute to the persons concerned; * Verify payment requests and the
issuance of payment certificates; * Prepare recommendations for the
acceptance of work and the list of deficiencies; * Perform other
related duties
