Job Description
• Ability to work with C-Suite management to translate high level objectives into the HR tactical plan
• Understand client organization needs and how to position the HR function to best serve these needs
• Ability to navigate multiple projects while successfully prioritizing competing demands
• Working knowledge of HRMS systems, such as ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, PayCor or UltiPro
• Expert knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including, but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, FLSA, ACA, OFCCP, EEO as well as state / local laws
• Demonstrated experience drafting policy, procedure and briefing executives on employment related topics
• Ability to connect HR process to Corporate Culture to drive meaningful long-term change
• Ability to think strategically while acting tactically
Qualifications
• BS/BA in HR or related field, MA/MBA preferred
• 10+ years working as a HR generalist in a growth phase company with 3+ years working as a HR leader
• Familiarity with government contracting and impacts to HR function
• Expert in employment law
• SHRM-CP / SCP certification
• Experience working with behavioral competencies, personality assessments, preferred
• Must be located in the DC Metro area and willing to do occasional client site visits
