Description

We are looking for a Technician to join our team! You will install,
service, and repair water and air filtration units. We provide
one-on-one training to new recruits to become proficient on our
systems.

Responsibilities:

* Performs work requiring general machine knowledge.
* Works under minimum direction from the Operations Manager.
* Build filtration units within expected times and obtains first-off
approval at first submission.
* Effectively identifies, troubleshoots and corrects product
nonconformances.
* Performs preventive maintenance lubrications and inspections of
machines and associated equipment to minimize machine problems.
* Minimizes scrap and rework.
* Handles medium to heavy materials intermittently.
* Completes work within expected periods of time.
* Communicates well with colleagues and the Operations Manager.
* Works safely avoiding lost time injuries.
* Minimum absenteeism and is punctual.
* Completes shop records accurately and completely.
* Performs other work as assigned by the Operations Manager.
* Manual labour when required.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience with general construction a plus.
* Familiarity with CAD drawings.
* Ability to handle physical workload.
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
* Valid G Drivers Licence.
