Description

We are seeking to grow our team by hiring a qualified,
experienced and driven individual, in order to take our business to
the next level.

 

The successful candidate will be required to attend site visits
throughout the Greater Toronto Area collecting
soil samples and liaise with laboratories, supervise construction
activities, and work collectively with various construction teams. It
would be considered a strong advantage to be familiar with
environmental field work, including borehole drilling, soil sampling
and soil classification. The ideal candidate will have the
eligibility to become a P.Eng. or P.Geo as they develop their
career. They should be self-motivated and possess the ability to
problem-solve on the spot. An understanding of environmental site
assessments (Phase 1 and Phase 2) is considered a benefit. 

 

Strong qualities the successful candidate will possess include
teamwork, communication, time management, organization, as well as a
willingness to learn and the ambition to grow and advance in a
fast-paced environment.

 

Our ideal applicant would be:

* Proficient with soil sampling techniques
* Able to obtain a P.Eng or P.Geo license and willing to work as a QP
designate once eligible
* Experienced in the environmental consulting industry with 1 –
3 years relevant experience conducting environmental site assessments
* Self-motivated and self driven to complete tasks and achieve goals
* Possess a valid Ontario G2 class Drivers License with access to
their own vehicle
* Willing to travel throughout GTA and beyond, collecting soil
samples and submitting them for laboratory analysis
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and related apps, as well as
data management
* Eager to succeed and exceed expectations
