Job Description

We are currently seeking to hire a Sales Director to join our
team! You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales
team to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities
* Create and analyze sales statistics to identify areas of
improvements
* Report on team and individual performance
* Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
* Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
* Lead all pre-sales to contract sign off cycle activities
* Working closely with sales team and prospective customers to
understand strategic business opportunities
* Work with team on sales and marketing strategies 
* Identify and suggest opportunities to enhance brand awareness
* Lead and manage team of sales advisors and guide them to successful
action
* Articulate strategy and objectives using strong presentation skills
that focus on value
* Provide guidance to the team for client presentations, events and
prepare them in advance
* Manage RFP cycles and ensure timely completion
* Maintain and enhance relationship with partner firms
* Learn the product and present to clients online and in person
meetings
* Earning client and partner trust through technical and functional
expertise
* Manage the proposal process and create SOW’s and RFP’s.
* Coordinate follow-up sales activities (i.e. evaluation,
implementation, customer training).
* Maintain relationships with clients by providing support,
information, and guidance as well as research and recommend new
solutions and services.
* Collaborating and negotiating in the context of achieving shared
objectives
* Analyzes customer requirements and translates those requirements
into technical design specifications
* Having excellent problem-solving skills to identify improvement
opportunities and suggest product road maps
* Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as a team
player

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field
* Experience as a supervisor or manager
* Familiarity with CRM platforms
* Strong leadership qualities
* Ability to build rapport with clients
* 3+ years in a product sales and demonstrations (Software
environment highly desired)
* Big 4 consulting background (highly desired)
* ERP system implementations (preferred)
* Bilingual (highly desired)
* Ability to present solutions at conferences (online and in person)
* Proficiency with personal and project productivity tools including
MS Office, MS Project
* Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities,
including the ability to effectively communicate with both
business/functional and highly technical individuals
* Effective problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to adjust approach and communication style based on
personalities and goals of customers/stakeholders
* Ability to present effectively, command attention, explain proposed
solutions, and answer detailed questions from across the spectrum
* Degree in Sales, Computer Science or business management and
related fields
* Must be located and educated in Canada
* Documentation skills/Technical writing skills
* Excellent listening skills
* Quality client service techniques

The Sales Manager is primarily responsible for determining the overall
strategic, operational and technical needs of new business
opportunities with customers and prospects. Part business analyst,
part technologist, part sales person, the Sales Manager works closely
with Solution Advisors and implementation teams to understand
strategic business opportunities and propose to prospective clients.

A strong consulting background is a requirement as is comfort with
sales. Familiarity with the tactical approach of the sales methodology
is a plus. The qualified candidate will have a strong technical
background, exceptional written and verbal communication
skills.
