Description

Job Title: AEM Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: Long-term contract
Need to be eligible for Secret clearance

Our client, a Federal Government of Canada department is looking for
AEM Developers to provide services  focused specifically on utilizing
AEM, to support the AEM components of a web portal. The support is
aimed at enhancing the program clients. Responsibilities include
implementing system enhancements, improving the user experience, and
addressing bug fixes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
 
Tasks: 

* Develop/update technical architectures, frameworks and strategies
for AEM to meet the business and application requirements
* Analyze and evaluate solutions within AEM or in conjunction with
alternative software solutions to meet business requirements
* Design, develop, test and implement AEM configurations and
components to build new, or enhance existing, portal functionality
* Create/maintain technical specification documents
* Collaborate with team members to assist in the creation and
implementation of development processes and procedures (development,
continuous integration, automated testing)
* Develop and maintain configuration and programs based on approved
requirements working both independently and within a team
* Translate business requirements and WCAG design into AEM templates
* Convert wireframe into AEM components
* Improve AEM client library assembling process, allow client
libraries dynamic loading, resolved dependency issue and cache issues
* Support the project enhancements, implement the AEM form validation
rules, such as file type, file size and other reusable jquery based
custom validation rules
* Technical specifications and related documentation
* Create Prototypes built within AEM that demonstrate solutions to
meet business requirements;
* Fully develop and test AEM functionality, including customizations
to support the system
* Configure application builds for each system release, builds
deployed to Development, Test, UAT, Training and Production
environments.
* Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to staff to support development
and future maintenance activities.
