Description

Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking an Azure Migration
Lead to join their team. As an Azure Migration Lead, you will be part
of the cloud transformation initiative supporting cross-functional
teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, proactive
problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which
will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Azure Migration Lead

Location: Remote (Within Canada only)

What's the Job?

* Lead the end-to-end Azure migration lifecycle, including discovery,
assessment, design, planning, execution, validation, and cutover.
* Drive and facilitate migration workshops with stakeholders to
gather requirements, define scope, and drive technical
decision-making.
* Design and implement scalable Azure architectures for MongoDB,
MySQL, and PostgreSQL migrations.
* Lead Kubernetes migration efforts from on-premises or other
platforms to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
* Collaborate with DevOps, Network, Security, and Application teams
to ensure cloud environments are secure and cost-optimized
post-migration.

What's Needed?

* Proven experience in leading and delivering Azure migration
projects, especially for MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
* Strong expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS services, resource governance,
networking, IAM, monitoring, and security.
* Experience running migration and architecture workshops, capturing
technical/functional requirements.
* Familiarity with tools such as Azure Migrate, Azure DMS, Velero,
Kasten, and Terraform.
* Excellent documentation and presentation skills with the ability to
communicate architectural decisions clearly.
