Description

The company, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Senior
Power Platform Developer (Programmer/Analyst – Level 2) to support
the OCIO Design and Delivery branch within a public-sector
environment. The Senior Power Platform Developer will be responsible
for designing, developing, and implementing secure, scalable
applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, while
collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to
deliver high-quality solutions that meet organizational requirements.

Responsibilities:

* Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to support
system and application development
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and recommend
appropriate technical solutions
* Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft Power
Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
* Create and modify application code, screens, and reports in
alignment with established standards and information management
requirements
* Develop secure, scalable solutions integrated with enterprise and
commercial off-the-shelf systems
* Design and implement system processes and procedures for
applications of varying complexity
* Develop, test, and deploy applications, including forms, workflows,
and data models
* Prepare and execute test plans, including unit, functional,
integration, system, and user acceptance testing
* Conduct quality assurance and peer reviews to ensure high-quality
deliverables
* Support application implementation, including security
considerations, vulnerability assessments, and transition procedures
* Provide operational, technical, and analytical expertise for
GIS-related initiatives, where applicable
* Translate spatial and technical requirements into functional GIS
applications and solutions

Requirements:

* 7+ years of experience in a Programmer/Analyst or senior
development role
* Experience with GIS
* Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power
Automate, Power BI)
* Experience developing secure, enterprise-grade applications and
integrations
* Proficiency across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Experience gathering and translating business requirements into
technical solutions
* Knowledge of information security, data protection, and governance
best practices
* Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Assets:

* Experience working in public-sector or government environments
* Familiarity with GIS technologies and spatial data systems
* Experience integrating Power Platform with enterprise systems and
data sources
* Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform or Azure
