Data / AI Engineer 

Contract Term: 3 months, highly renewable

Work Location: remote work in Canada

Support

 

To act hand in hand with Foundry Architect + Agent Developer for a
project

Should be able to understand and provide hands-on support. Should have
deep knowledge of:

* Microsoft Azure AI Foundry - agent deployment, model endpoints,
prompt flow, or custom orchestration
* Agentic orchestration frameworks: AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or
LangGraph in Azure ecosystem
* Should have developed and deployed agents within Azure and should
be aware of dependencies, limitations and assumptions while designing
the agentic ecosystem for the client
* RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipeline design - vector
stores, embedding strategies, index refresh
* Multi-step agent design: tool use, memory, retries, guardrails,
kill-switch patterns

Experience with structuring data to make it usable to be consumed by
Foundry agents

Azure Data Factory, Azure Fabric, and Power BI - pipeline development
and data model design

Data normalization and schema design for multi-source ingestion
(structured + unstructured)

RAG infrastructure: document ingestion pipelines, chunking strategies,
embedding generation

Vector database integration: Azure AI Search, Pinecone, or equivalent

Python for data pipeline scripting (pandas, Polars, data cleaning)

Azure Lakehouse architecture: Delta Lake, Fabric pipelines, OneLake

Data deduplication, quality validation, and lineage tracking

Power BI dataset publishing and refresh automation

SQL and data modelling for vulnerability/security data domains

Azure Event Hub for streaming / real-time data pipelines
