Description

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security
sector, is seeking a Vulnerability Management Consultant to join their
team. As a Vulnerability Management Consultant, you will be part of
the Security Operations department supporting various teams dedicated
to maintaining and enhancing cybersecurity resilience. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive
communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align
successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Vulnerability Management Consultant

Location: Remote

What's the Job?

* Manage and maintain the vulnerability management program to ensure
continuous security improvements.
* Perform regular vulnerability scanning of networks, systems, and
applications to identify potential security issues.
* Analyze scan results to identify, validate, and prioritize
vulnerabilities based on risk and impact.
* Track vulnerabilities from discovery through remediation and
closure, ensuring timely resolution.
* Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and application teams to
support effective remediation efforts.

What's Needed?

* Experience in Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, or IT
Security roles.
* Understanding of CVEs, CVSS scoring, and the vulnerability
lifecycle.
* Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as
Qualys, Nessus, or Rapid7.
* Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking
concepts.
* Ability to analyze technical findings and communicate risk clearly
to stakeholders.
