Description

We need an experienced Sheet Metal CAD Drafter / Designer to create a
complete drawing package for an industrial sheet metal enclosure
assembly based on provided reference prints and modification
requirements.
The project will proceed in two distinct phases: an initial
review/approval drawing package, followed by the final manufacturing
file delivery.
Scope of Work & Milestones:

* Milestone 1: 2D Approval Drawing Package (Review Stage)

* Build the initial 3D parametric CAD assembly based on the provided
specifications.

* Generate a clean, multi-page 2D Vector PDF drawing package
including:

* Assembly overview with key exterior dimensions, mounting hole
centers, and hardware locations.
* Section views showing internal clearances, sub-panel mounting, stud
callouts, and gasket details.
* Customer/manufacturer approval sign-off block.

* Note: This milestone allows us to review and submit the print to
our contract manufacturer for Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
feedback before releasing cut files. Includes 1–2 minor revision
rounds based on manufacturer feedback.

* Milestone 2: Final Manufacturing Release Package (Post-Approval)

* Update CAD model with any requested manufacturer adjustments.

* Deliver complete fabrication package:

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience in sheet metal enclosure design and industrial
drafting standards (welded studs, hardware inserts, bend allowances,
NEMA/Type ratings).
* High attention to detail with GD&T, clear section views, and
dimensioning.
* Quick turnaround on drafting review markups.
