About Us
Founded in 2012, [...] is a growing social impact business offering
online courses and in-person events for death doulas and others who
want to meet death with greater consciousness and skill.

We're a small, tight-knit team of eight, with roles spanning program
direction, community, content, technology, and operations. We wear a
lot of hats, care deeply about our work, and genuinely enjoy working
together.

We've built a trusted brand in the deathcare and grief space, and
we’re dedicated to doing good work in the world. We're entering an
exciting new stage of growth, and we’re looking to expand our team.

About the Role

You'll edit and process recordings of our live program calls and
client sessions. The regular workload includes:

* Sacred Deathcare Guide Certification calls: two recordings per week
(Tuesdays and Thursdays)
* Guild membership calls: approx. one to two recordings per week
(varied schedule)
* Recorded client sessions: approx. once or twice per month (varied
schedule)
* Occasional additional program recordings as needed

Recordings are due within 24 hours, with Tuesday calls prioritized for
a faster turnaround. We'll give you a schedule of calls and deadlines
in advance.

We're starting with a three-month contract while we refine our
longer-term team structure and decide where video editing best fits
within our growing content and marketing team.

Responsibilities

* Access and download recordings after live calls
* Edit recordings in Descript following our established process
* Upload finished videos to Dropbox and Mighty Networks
* Update Airtable and other tracking systems
* Communicate completions, questions, and technical issues in Slack
* Follow our SOPs and help keep them current
* Flag recurring issues and suggest ways to make the workflow more
efficient

Tech Stack
Descript, Dropbox, Asana, Google Drive, Mighty Networks, Airtable,
Slack, Zoom.

Experience with these tools is a bonus, but we'll train you on our
systems if you're comfortable learning new software.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

* Has experience editing and exporting long-form video or recorded
online calls
* Is confident with basic video and audio quality control
* Has reliable high-speed internet and a computer that can
efficiently handle large video files
* Can consistently meet a 24-hour turnaround
* Has excellent attention to detail, especially with file naming,
uploads, links, and publishing
* Can troubleshoot straightforward technical issues independently
* Understands the importance of confidentiality when handling
sensitive participant and client recordings
* Our recordings deal with death, dying, and grief, and some content
may be emotionally heavy. We value team members who can engage with
this material with care, and who will let us know if they need
support.

Who We’re Looking For

You'll be a good fit if you are:

* Dependable, organized, and comfortable managing recurring deadlines
without close supervision
* Attentive to detail while keeping work moving
* Happy doing repetitive, process-driven work
* Quick to speak up when something is unclear or needs attention
* A cheerful, flexible team player who likes making things run
smoothly

You'll also resonate with our organizational values:

* Warmth: Heartful human connection
* Accountability: Responsibility for our actions
* Focus: Clarity of purpose and implementation
* Health: Dedication to personal and business thriving
* Collaboration: We go further together

An interest in spiritual wellness, grief, deathcare, or end-of-life
education is an asset, but direct experience in these fields isn't
required.

What We Offer

* Meaningful work supporting a respected education organization
* Clear systems, schedules, and expectations
* A healthy culture with strong communication
* A small, supportive team that values reliability and good work
* Consistent recurring work for the length of the contract
