The company is hiring a Head of Talent and Organizational Development to design, refine and oversee the planning, development, and execution of our People-related initiatives.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be a critical member of our leadership team and your work will be imperative to our ongoing success.

What you will be doing at the company as the Head of Talent and Organizational Development:

- Attracting top talent for fast-paced growth in nearly all roles in the company, managing outside recruiters when absolutely necessary
- Developing our most important asset, our people – Design and formalize internal processes for onboarding, skill and leadership development, performance evaluation and feedback loops, conflict resolution, etc.
- Develop and evolve the infrastructure for motivating, engaging and measuring performance
- Consult with management to help facilitate executive team success; grow leaders within the core team; and cultivate/maintain high-level relationships that support Generate’s position, reputation, and continued evolution as the leading capital partner for the Resource Revolution
- Keep getting better: have fun devising and testing new and better ways to do all of the above

Candidate requirements and qualifications:

- 10+ years as a human resources / people operations professional, with experience working with high-powered executives – a big plus for having worked with organizations constructed as a partnership or organizations with multiple senior leaders
- Unimpeachable integrity
- Glowing references
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including empathy, intuition, and listening
- High level of self-awareness and humility, with excitement about confronting uncomfortable situations or new challenges
- Intellectual agility and curiosity, superb analytical skills; problem-solving is your default mode
- Entrepreneurial spirit: flexibility to do whatever it takes, comfort with risk and the unknown, recognition that we’re never going to be perfect and that “perfect can be the enemy of the good”

This position is based part-time, 20 hours a week, in our San Francisco, CA office.
