Description
We're looking for an online marketing expert to develop and optimize our online marketing strategy, ultimately enabling us to drive traffic to our website, generate qualified leads, and sell our products and services.

But before we get into the job details, let me give you a little background:

We're a coaching firm that teaches startup founders, leaders, and executives to to generate breakthrough opportunities from their network by increasing their personal and professional leverage. We're headquartered in California (in that city with the big, beautiful bridge), but the job can be performed from anywhere in the US or Canada.

Your work would be largely web- and phone-based. All training and work can be done from home, from cafes, or from a nearby park. So your location does not matter to us. You just need to have a computer, the ability to keep it running, and a steady internet connection.

Alright, you know a little about us. Here's what we're looking for from you:

- A Native English Speaker: You must be able to speak and write fluent, natural English.
- Several years of Professional Online Marketing Experience: Specifically with a focus on contentmarketing, online lead generation and online sales strategy.
- Knowledge and Intense Interest in the Subject Matter: For example: Business networking, relationship management, leadership, entrepreneurship, productivity, and startups.
- Great Communication Skills: Our team prides itself in open communication. As we've discovered, many common problems can be lessened or avoided altogether with prompt and proper communication.
- Attention to Detail: You should love details. As in: You would grow them in your yard, nurture them daily, and never let one get away if you could.
- Love of Learning: We don't expect you to know everything immediately, but we do expect you to be a self-driven learner who goes above and beyond to educate themselves and expand their knowledge.
- Forward Thinker: You should enjoy being one step ahead of everyone else; solving problems and meeting needs before they even enter the minds of others.
- Problem Solver: Forward thinking doesn't mean rushing. You should also be prepared to step back and evaluate how to best solve challenges, both expected and unexpected. No matter what goes wrong, you must believe there's a solution to it and take ownership over finding that solution.

Alright, that's what we want from you. So what kind of work can you expect from us? Here's a quick breakdown of your top responsibilities in the development and optimization of our online marketing efforts:

- Set-up, optimize, and maintain effective online sales funnels for our services and products.
- Create conversion-focused landing pages.
- Email marketing & nurture campaigns
- Retargeting marketing
- A/B testing on lead magnets, opt-in forms, and landing pages.
- Develop and optimize an effective lead scoring system, allowing us to better identify and focus on high-quality leads.
- Website management and SEO strategy
- Develop and Optimize paid traffic activities.
- Implement and customize website analytics; track and analyze website data via Google Analytics Update and maintain existing marketing performance dashboards and report on KPI
- Identify and set up webinar and podcast opportunities within our industry to promote our content and products.

While those will be your primary responsibilities, other responsibilities may arise. Be prepared to take those on with the same passion, fervor, and expertise as everything else.

Ideally you have worked with and know how to handle at least some of the following tools:

- Email Marketing (Convertkit).
- Opt-in Forms and Landing Pages (Thrive Leads, leadpages.net).
- Paid Traffic (Facebook Ads, Linkedin Ads, Adwords.
- Performance Dashboards (Google Analytics, Klipfolio).
- Webinar Software (easywebinar, Webinarjam).
