This opportunity is not a Photographer position.
As the Photography Producer, you will manage all aspects of studio production. From brief to delivery, you will use your production expertise to interpret a client’s requirements and bring it to life. This role will achieve a balance between production and on-set direction leveraging our extensive Production team.
You are responsible for organizing project details, managing daily production requirements, budgeting and on-set direction. You will ensure all projects and content creation meet client expectations for quality, accuracy and timeliness.
What you will do:
Plan and implement budgets that ensure both quality, efficiency and profitability for each project;
Create project plans that provide clearly established schedules to ensure proper resources and workflow are in place to meet deadlines with quality and accuracy;
Provide resource planning to ensure highest level of productivity
Interact with clients to support the strategic and creative direction of projects and attend planning meetings;
Maintain contact with clients and obtain client approvals throughout the project progression;
Clearly communicate requirements and direction to all stakeholders while interfacing with internal team members for merchandise information scheduling and layouts;
Organize and Maintain ongoing records of all projects while keeping the Studio Supervisor updated;
Manage client requirements: obtaining permits, model & property release forms, insurance, model negotiations, freelance negotiations
Commission the following on budget & as required: location scouting, propping, set building;
Offer creative alternatives when evaluating art direction & concepts;
Plan location photography projects outside of the GTA;
Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
What you need to win:

Minimum 5 yrs content production experience with a focus on photography;
Demonstrated production experience for a variety of medium to large scale projects
Experience directing shoots that utilize 360 photography, photo, video and computer generated imaging;
Strong problem solving skills, ability to perform under pressure and demonstrated leadership skills;
Good understanding of post studio editing to maximize the quality and proficiency of production;
Proficient MAC skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other system programs;
Minimum college education or related job experience;
Possess strong organizational and time management skills;
Ability to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines;
Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills;
Ability to support and foster the development of co-workers in a team environment.
