Description
The Marketing specialist will be focused primarily on developing, executing and measuring the success of marketing campaigns designed to activate, retain and grow the Small & Medium Sized Business (SMB) customer segment.

Focus on Retention, Stimulation and Growth initiatives to achieve campaign objectives for SMB segment
Leverage opportunities using CRM / Trigger-Based Marketing initiatives to manage customers through their life-cycle and experiences
Assist in development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including development of agency briefs, creative development, data/production specs, fulfillment, tracking & measurement of results
Adjust and modify campaigns based on results to continually improve and maximize performance
Work with marketing operations team to compile campaign results, learning, and wrap-up presentations to the team and senior leadership
Contribute to the annual marketing plan, including the development of the channel and communication strategies
Enable and support inside sales team with campaign strategy, marketing campaign collateral, sales material and offer management support
Coordinate campaigns with various departments including Inside Sales, Corporate Communications, Corporate Marketing and Finance to ensure effective program execution
Manage Agency, Production and Fulfillment vendor relationships
Invoice processing and budget maintenance for SMB retention programs
Ad hoc initiatives or projects as required


Qualifications:



University degree in Business, Marketing major preferred
Minimum 5 years business experience in a marketing environment
Proven experience managing and executing direct marketing and email campaigns
Experience writing briefs for advertising agencies
Understanding and experience designing and segmenting a customer base for campaigns within marketing automation tools
B2B marketing experience an asset
Agency experience an asset
Creative thinker with proven problem solving ability
Detail oriented, possessing strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Able to excel in a rapidly changing environment, lead and manage several projects simultaneously with strong time management and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
