I'm a recent graduate of Lighthouse Labs in Vancouver, which is a web development bootcamp. The curriculum at Lighthouse Labs was primarily focused on the Ruby language, with Ruby on Rails as the framework, but I also developed applications using the Sinatra framework and many others, including the final project, made using the MEAN stack, which was a League of Legends Bitcoin bidding application, allowing players to big against one another on online matches

Prior to Lighthouse Labs, I completed a web programming certificate at O'Reilly School of Technology. I gained a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Unix, and PHP.

During university, I also completed a number of introduction computer science courses, including visual basic, c#, and networking fundamentals.

I also have a B.A in Political Science from the University of Calgary, where I gained strong proficiencies in researching and designing projects, analyzing data, and utilizing different means of communication.

Summary of my Work Experience:

After my schooling, I completed a two month internship in Calgary as a Junior Ruby on Rails Developer. I worked primarily with rails and gained practical experience in working with API's and adhering to test-driven-development standards. I also built features for applications using jQuery, CoffeeScript, and JavaScript.

During university, I volunteered for an international student organisation, called AIESEC. During that time, I gained over two years experience in corporate relations and sponsorship, promoting the organisation's global internship program and raising money for national conferences.
