When I was a "stay-at-home mom" in the Boston area, I developed the idea of the lozengelollipop
and was invited by the president of Powers Pharmaceutical, now Nutramax, to present
this idea to them. (Nutramax is a company that works solely with Whitehall-Robins.) To a
significant degree I contributed to the development of the concept as well as an advertisement of
the "Get Better Bear Pop". Whereas I was not formally recognized for this endeavor, I have all
the information and formal signatures present on non-disclosure statements to indicate their
relationship to my idea.

individual was from one of the top ten law firms in Canada in IP & IT; the last one was an
individual who dealt with biometric issues of fingerprinting. He donated a voice recognition unit
as well as a fingerprinting one for our use. Most of these individuals have returned to contribute
to my communications course. The others have shown significant interest in returning and
contributing in several other ways to the Faculty and our department.
I brought well-recognized and important figureheads from various disciplines to speak in my
various SE 3I03 classes at McMaster University to further the students' knowledge. In addition,
these individuals have made a commitment to me that they would like to contribute again in
several ways in the future. In particular a major law firm offered through me, internships, funds,
resources for the faculty amongst various other significant contributions, to the university, the
faculty and the department.
