I'm a writer, editor, proofreader, and public relations professional, focusing on science, health, travel, agriculture, equestrian sports and veterinary-related subjects. I've also been a college-level lecturer and educator at the University of Guelph's satellite campus in Clinton, Ontario.

Wordsmithing is my jam. I can help you with content development, content writing, feature-length journalism, editing and proofreading, ghost blogging, promotional and ad copy, public relations and press release writing, and social media.

I currently write for over 40 publications in Canada, the United States, and Europe. I've authored six books to date: Understanding Equine Nutrition (revised ed. 2007) and Understanding the Pony, for Eclipse Press, and four children's books for Scholastic Canada, in collaboration with photographer Shawn Hamilton (Crazy For Horses, Still Crazy For Horses, Crazy For Ponies, and Totally Crazy For Horses).

Having served hundreds of publications and businesses with content development and creation, I look for opportunities to work with companies and organizations that 'get' content, and understand its imperative role in the future of marketing and business success.

When I'm not at my computer, you'll more than likely find me out in the barn, communing with my horses.
