Skills:
I have graduated in Masters of Quality Systems Engineering from Concordia University just recently and I am looking forward to start my professional career in Logistics and Supply Chain in North America. I am flexible in working at different geographies as well. As a part of my course work, I have done courses like, Quality Assurance Supply Chain Management, Total Quality Methodologies in engineering (Six Sigma), and Quality in Supply Chain Design, Product Design and Methodology, Quality Based System Engineering, Advanced Statistical Approaches to Quality, Risk Analysis for information and system management, Total Quality Project Management and Probability and Stochastic Processes. For each of these courses, I have worked in teams on projects based on real scenarios.
In the past, I have worked for over a year in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, as an Assistant Manager at the Cheema Agrovet Industries in India. The key tasks were to implement logistics procedures, monitor and maintain data for products, contracts, pricing and invoicing information, supervising the production planner and other warehouse employees, controlling transportation and distribution costs, resolving customer queries etc. Also, I was responsible for the performance and operation in the factory, managing the staff and communicating with the higher authorities whenever required. The major job was to control, count and keep accurate inventory levels. As an outcome of my experience there, I gained adequate knowledge on some of the main areas of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
